After a very long weekend, I will try to rest today. I'm not very good at it; I have a hard time sitting still. I feel like even though it's much deserved, I should be up and moving and doing something.
Even as I sit here writing this, I want to get up and go do something. I am fidgeting and fretting that I am forced to sit here.
Hopefully work will keep me busy enough today that I won't go crazy.
Step count today: 479
I am right with you. Had GBS at age 65 in Feb this year. Hospitals 6 months....home in wheelchair 2 months now. I can now walk 60 steps with a walker...see my video. I will be the GBS Society person of the month in October.

Bob,
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your story! I watched your video and although I don't have any photos from when I was in that very same situation, seeing yours made me realize just how devastating this disease really is!
I am praying for you, and I beg you to keep fighting hard and never give up!
Congratulations on being GBS Society person of the month, how exciting!
Keep in touch.
Shannon
P.S., just the fact that you're walking and moving those legs is all positive! Keep them moving!!
